Teloschistes chrysophthalmus, Golden eye lichen, in the woods yesterday evening

#lichen #nature

@kimmiechem2 Oh. My. Lord. Looking forward to seeing some photos from this wide bb

@jan_mayen Wonderful detail on the gills. I love the contrast between them and their stalks.

I was intrigued by a picture of a puddle created by M.C. #Escher (1952) wikiart.org/en/m-c-escher/pudd so I decided to try recreating it as #TextileArt

It doesn't look exactly like the original. I realised that the number of lines in the original might be a bit difficult to recreate at this scale (about 18cm across), so I left out the tyre tracks. Conveniently for me, I decided it would be more peaceful to think of the forest not having vehicles roaring through it 😁

@klizana This looks so cool! Your mixed prints/paints always make me happy.

I made this photograph last summer, but I never really liked it. I knew I had to do something with it, and that's how this piece was created. It wasn't that hard to find an interesting concept considering the Semple vs. Kapoor feud.

Mixed media Black and White pigment print painted using Black 3.0. The film negative is from my Rolleiflex using Ilford Delta. #MastoArt #WomensArt #Photography #BelieveInFilm

@klizana He’s a big adorable dummy. I had a dream last night that he joined me at work but then ran off somewhere in our office. Security said something happened and we all had to go outside so I started yelling for him, but he didn’t come to me. He found me later in my dream and he was soaking wet. Seems like a thing he’d do in real life.

The camera got a little update with the 2bit Toy Camera+ shell and a 5-50mm (50-500mm on the gameboy camera) lens! Close focus is such a dream with this setup and should help with the .

@harryfk I'm right there with you. It's incredible just how much image can actually be resolved with such strict constraints.

Took some time this morning to chill out with some coffee and mess with my custom frame. I decided to scrap adding any branding and opted for the repeating pattern instead. Overall, I think it's cute and quirky!

What do you think? Any suggestions on how I can improve it?

With these super low-res photos I’m always surprised how much I can see in them, but then I wonder whether it’s just me because I took the photo and I know what’s on it or if everyone sees a poodle and a forest path and a leash in this 🫠 #GameBoy #GameBoyCamera #Poodle #Dog
