Been lusting over Architecture of Density for a few years and now I finally have the reprint that came out earlier this year, I'm glad that the work absolutely lived up to my expectations. In some cases wildly exceeded them.
@krishooper oh wow, that's amazing! I'm mostly a big fan of his Hong Kong work, he definitely provided a visual archive of HK that is completely different from everything else we see. The stuff he did in Paris or Chicago (or Google Maps) I can take or leave but I will give him that at least he went for interesting approaches.
@Rob_biondo I need to dive deeper into Wolf's books. I stayed in a Hong Kong Airbnb a few years back that had small but excellent photobook collection. Behind the bed it was wallpapered with a scene similar to the cover of Architecture of Density. The view outside the windows was the similar. It turned out to be Wolf's apartment. I can only hope I acquired some of his skill by using his shampoo.
